19.  Envoi

62 Division remained nearly three months in Germany. Then they were relieved, battalion by battalion, by a Highland division and 62 Div was disbanded. Most of its battalions were reduced to cadre, but one or two went to other divisions.

Later, a memorial to the dead of 62 Division was erected at Havrincourt and unveiled on 7.6.22.
